We got to spend some time with Nate's parents and then take over their timeshare for the weekend in Coronado. Of course, the pics with the grandparents are on Nate's phone. Will figure that out later... One of the highlights was that huge brownie plate the kids and I are salivating over. One of those moments I am grateful Nate doesn't love chocolate! Madisen always likes to make sand angels at the beach. She will do it over and over again. I loved curling up with Nate and my "Ben and Jerrys" to watch the LDS Saturday conference at night in the hotel on the laptop. We were blessed that the hotel broadcasted the Sunday sessions on T.V. During President Monsen's talk, the cable was going out and it became impossible to hear or see the prophet. Casen was sitting next to us and Nathan asked if we should pray that we would be able to hear the prophets message to us. We turned the TV off and said a prayer. We turned it back on and within 2 minutes the cable was clear and there was no sign of any trouble. We felt that we were given a great opportunity to teach about faith and the power of prayer. We both felt the spirit that day.
